DEPENDENCY HEARINGS
I have now been to three dependency hearings for the child over the last five weeks, and NOTHING GETS DONE!!!! The lawyers talk, I didn't get to talk. They profess what they profess, the judge WHO KNOWS???? And I've been to college and I don't understand the BULL (*&^ that goes on at these hearings. I have now seen people come out of these hearings saying, "THEY TERMINATED MY PARENTAL RIGHTS." These have always been the underprivileged of society for the most part. I do believe these people might, they just might be, in the kid and baby business. I have now watched them take a two year old child out of a home where she was thriving, doing well for the last four months and switch her foster home. How smart is that of the ALL MIGHTLY COURTS?????? I have written to Gail Zimmerman today. She is a producer for the show 48 Hours on CBS. I am hoping that she will take this story and run with it. I THINK PEOPLE REALLY NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON!!!! If you are reading my blog, please comment so that I know someone out there is reading.

Just remember to keep 2 paper copies of everything said and done. Every meeting, phonecall, conversation, letter, email and visit. You also want copies of everything the CPS 'supposedly' have as evidence! The only problem with that is they can get away with not showing anyone be they judge, lawyer or yourself for fuckin AGES. My thoughts are with you and your family.
ReplyDeleteAND I SAY "HOW THE FUCK DO THEY HAVE SO MUCH POWER?" THEY ARE DEALING WITH THE LIVES OF CHILDREN!!!! AND THIS IS WHAT I AM ASKING IN MY NEXT POST, CAN THEY COME UP WITH EVIDENCE IN THE FUTURE, AND THEN TAKE THE KIDS AGAIN FROM MY SON? THEY HAVE PURPORTED TO HAVE EVIDENCE THAT I AM A CHILD ABUSER AGAINST ME FROM 94, 95 AND 96, WHICH I DON'T HAVE ANY RECALL OF AT ALL. SO I AM NOT AN OPTION TO TAKE MY GRANDSON. I HAVE AN ATTORNEY THAT CAN HOPEFULLY REFUTE THIS BECAUSE I KNOW IT ISN'T TRUE.
ReplyDeleteI am following this and I can't even begin to imagine the hell you are going through. I hope that it all works out for you, and that you get a good attorney to fight this tooth and nail. I hope that if they cannot place your grandson with his parents that they do the right thing and keep him with you or his other grandparents rather than send a poor little innocent baby out into the massively flawed system!
ReplyDeleteI was taken into foster care when my dad was falsely accused of beating me! I was in care for 4 months. My parents fought tooth and nail for me and what I have taken from the experience is to keep several copies of EVERYTHING! That way the CPS don't really have a leg to stand on cos when it comes to the hearings if you have all this evidence but they can't provide any then you will win! It's gonna be a long and hard struggle but don't give up and keep your focus. Teach these people that they can't just fuck with other peoples lives when they go on a power trip!
